Accident at 22nd and Canton

The following images were taken on Monday morning at approximately 8:30.  Two vehicles ended up in the yard at the SE corner of 22nd and Canton.  I was unable to obtain any details regarding the collision as the First Responders shooed me away.  I did see the ambulance depart at a normal speed with no flashing lights so hopefully no one was seriously injured.  Please post commentary if you have any information.

  1. These corners are constantly run by autos. As a regular walker through the neighborhood, I have nearly been run down by autos that do not stop (act like they do not even see stop or yield signs). The bikers do not stop or yield either. Some of the signs are covered by tree limbs and some are in open sight and just not observed. It is not just at this corner, but throughout the neighborhood. People in general just do not seem to see them.

  2. As all stop signs in our neighborhood are ignored, beware on 32nd St. between Indiana and JTH. People speed as others ignore stop signs, It's a bad mix. Also 33rd between Indiana and Boston, there was a bad wreck at 33rd and Elgin last week. Someone ran a stop sign and the other was speeding.
