School Bus Accident at 31st and Boston

A LISD school bus collided with a car at the intersection of 31st Street and Boston near Hutch Middle School around 8:00 Tuesday morning.  It appears the car pulled out in front of the bus since the southbound bus has the right of way. There were no students onboard the bus as they had just been dropped off at Hutch.   Perhaps the driver of the car was blinded by the morning sun or texting.

Bicycle vs. Car at 22nd and Elgin

At approximately 10:00 PM Saturday night, a SUV struck a female bicyclist at the intersection of 22nd and Elgin.  UNIT News was unable to obtain any details other than the bicyclist was not seriously injured. Fire and police responded to the incident.

Accident at 22nd and Canton

The following images were taken on Monday morning at approximately 8:30.  Two vehicles ended up in the yard at the SE corner of 22nd and Canton.  I was unable to obtain any details regarding the collision as the First Responders shooed me away.  I did see the ambulance depart at a normal speed with no flashing lights so hopefully no one was seriously injured.  Please post commentary if you have any information.

Mishap at the old Tech Chancellor's House

Late Friday night or early Saturday morning an automobile took out a portion of the brick wall of the old Tech chancellor's house at the south east corner of 19th and Flint.  Looks like a pretty violent collision.
