Fall Festival at Roscoe Wilson

Roscoe Wilson Elementary hosted its annual Fall Festival and Fundraiser on Saturday afternoon, October 23rd. Neighborhood parents Lisa Smitherman, Dani Brady and Matt and Michelle Russell organized the old-fashioned and modern twist outdoor carnival games, generous silent auction and delicious tailgate cookout for families and friends to benefit the campus initiatives sponsored by the school PTA.

Obstacle course bouncers, a children's train and skateboard bowling were popular attractions.
Committee member Dani Brady encourages parents to bid on unique baskets donated by classrooms and local merchants.
Second grade friends plot who will be the unsuspecting victim of a dozen cascarones eggs!
Neighborhood parents volunteered at booths along with pledges of Phi Delta Theta and The High Riders as to cheer on students as they participate in carnival games.
The day was a huge success!
Families enjoyed time together, beautiful weather and barbecue wraps served up tail-gate style
by iron chefs Matt Russell and Stuart Hendricks.
It's never too late to join the Parent Teacher Association!  Celeste Yoshinobu encourages families, teachers and neighbors to sign up.
Glitter, glue, paint and sequins provide a create palette for young pumpkin artists.
